I usually do not like to write reviews for any product. However, I am making an exception for the Zeta saddle because it is simple outstanding. I started road cycling about 1 1/2 years ago. The selection of a good saddle has been a very frustrating experience. I have spent thousands of dollars buying the most expensive saddles from all the top brands including Specialized, Fizik, Sella Italia, Bontrager and others. I ran into a Zeta saddles add in my e mail and read that this saddle had been designed by a physician cyclist who also experienced frustration in finding the right saddle. I thought, this may be it! With some skepticism I ordered the Optima and took this brand new saddle to Italy to be used in a cycling trip. What a gander ….!!!!! My brand new Zeta saddle was installed on my high performance road bicycle and for six days, morning and afternoon, I rode 500 + Kms doing flats and hills with elevation gain up to 2,700 ft in Tuscany Italy. Coming from Florida in the USA this was not an easy task, specially with a saddle I had never used. I took a huge risk and it paid off….. My Optima Zeta saddle 145mm with titanium frame was extremely comfortable and a perfect fit. I had never been on any saddle for six consecutive days of riding. I experienced NO pain or discomfort at any time. I LOVE MY ZETA SADDLE AND WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ALL CYCLISTS OUT THERE STILL LOOKING FOR THE ELUSIVE “BEST PERFORMANCE ROAD SADDLE” 💯❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Tried out a lot of different saddles because I'm a larger, heavier rider and Ultima seems the best mix for comfort. My butt muscles still gets sore from riding long but no saddle sores or long term tailbone pain. A little bit of recovery and I'm good to go again. So just what I want and expect.
This is the saddle my fat butt has been looking for. It’s wide, short, and a generous cutout. It becomes a non issue on longer rides.
I’ve been through a lot of saddles over 40 plus years of riding. I will say I was a skeptic but given the 30 day trial period it seemed a no brainer. It was comfy on the first ride and has seemed to improve over time. I’ve had it for a month. I liked it so much I bought a second. I put them on an MTB and a gravel bike.
I have spent a small fortune on road bike saddles. For the first time I can remember I found myself sitting while descending. I usually rise off the saddle while coasting to give my bottom some relief. This saddle is a keeper.
I’m a big man. I own two of them. They’re the best saddles I’ve ever had. They contact me in just the right places with minimal pressure. I was initially a skeptic, especially when I saw my first Zeta saddle, but after trying it, I became a believer.
I've been looking for a saddle to meet my needs. I bought a new endurance bike 2 years ago, a fancy, expensive bike... the saddle that came with it was ok, but too wide and really not ideal for my needs.
I bought this optima saddle on a whim, basically because of a FB add, but such is life. It has been great so far. While I think the geometry is ideal and a great fit, I think the material for the saddle could be better, this has been a big improvement.
Shape, comfort in the appropriate areas and all-that, are well met with this saddle. I'm looking forward to a leather exterior option. Today's technical fabrics are very "grippy" against common saddle materials, which for me leave a bit to be desired. I'm looking for a free flowing rock (back-and-fortth).
Better than most!
I was initially very skeptical. It’s not very large, but it fits in all the right places. I don’t hurt during a ride, and I’m not raw or sore after a ride. Still trying to fine tune the angle, position, and height, but it’s a great saddle. I recently ordered and installed a second one on my other bike.
Having tried a wide variety of saddles, I was intrigued by the Zeta saddle adds and decided to go ahead and try one. I now have 5 rides and about 100 miles on my Optima - I am definitely paying less attention to my rear end with this saddle! The next test is some longer rides (30-50 miles), to see how it works out for more extended rides.
Very rarely are things as good if not better than advertises. But this is a case where the product exceeded my expectations. I have gone three 4 saddles and variations of bike shorts, and nothing worked consistently. This is the 1st time I could go back to back days riding without soreness or abrasions. It's been amazing. And you feel stronger since your not in pain and can go a lot more. This product is amazing
Great Saddle - more comfort than Ergon or WTB saddles for long rides.
Weather has been bad here. I have 20 miles total in three rides! Also change to padded shorts 3x & 4x. Give me a couple weeks.
