Over the last year, I’ve experienced sit bone scar tissue on my right side. After professional bike fit, many different saddles, and changes in riding frequency, nothing had helped. I was facing the reality that my riding days were over. After talking with Patrick, he thought trying his saddle would be worth a try. I’ve been on the saddle for 2 months, and have ordered another for my second bike. My saddle issues aren’t completely gone, but the difference has been amazing. Very happy customer here!!!

My first 49-mile outing on the new Optima. I must say, there was a discernible difference between the pain caused by sitting on my former saddles and the comfort of the Optima. It's definitely a keeper.
Patrick, thank you for help in finding the correct saddle for me. I chose the Optima S, short nosed saddle. I have been riding it for a few weeks, adjusting as i go. the optimum position i have found, is the seat all the way forward. by doing this i am able to sit on the largest padding area, seems to give me the most comfort. I chose the short nose, which eliminated my sitting on the prostate area, also giving me the most comfort. I am an avid rider, 20 to 30 miles a day. I continue to give it little tweeks as i go. I plan to do 100 mile ride this summer. so far have been pleased. My sit bones have been happier. I would recommend this saddle. Thank you for your help.
There was a break in period of 10 min! That's crazy. Now my new favorite saddle.
I recently acquired an indoor bike trainer (Kickr Shift). The included saddle was horrible. I used it as an opportunity to try a high quality 3-D printed saddle. It was much better than what I had but nowhere near as good as my Zeta saddle. So I ended up buying a new carbon Zeta saddle which will ultimately go on my road bike and the the alloy one will end up on my trainer. I can tell you that the carbon saddle feels the same as the alloy one, only lighter. For some reason this is the only saddle that works for me.
Bought the Ultima for my wife's new bike. She's been very pleased with it, said it was as comfortable as sitting on a cloud. High praise from someone who was using a overly padded springy seat before. She's new to riding and very picky. VERY picky!
Recently traded in my Ultima for the Optima. The Ultima was comfortable but the geometry of the Optima was better for me. Zeta made the trade in process very easy. I now have 3 rides on the new Optima with the longest ride being 30 miles. So far it is very comfortable, I’m looking forward to getting in some longer rides to really test the comfort. At this point I’m very excited about how comfortable the Optima saddle is.
I tried bought a Zeta because I have had a LOT of pain during long MTB efforts (particularly races over 35 miles). I put it on for an 8 hr race last month and it helped significantly. After doing shorter rides on another bike (not equipped with a Zeta saddle) I realized even more how much I liked it. Looks like I will be buying a couple more for my other bikes. Reasonably priced and well worth the small weight penalty.
Definitely less painful at 25 miles than previous seats, going to take some fine tuning in adjustments but I think it is going to work out
I am an older, bigger rider (6’5”, 260ish). I have spinal fusions, so I’m also more upright than many cyclists. I have always had a hard time finding a saddle that fits my fat arse, is comfortable, and protects the “sensitive” spots. I thought I would try the Ultima on a BOGO offer, and I now have one on each of my 4 bikes. It is wide, short, with a generous cutout, and the most comfortable saddle I’ve ever ridden. I highly recommend this saddle for the bigger, or wider rider.
I have tried many saddles over the years and spent a lot of money trying to find the perfect saddle. Zeta nailed it. The search is over. Love this saddle
Have not bought a new saddle for my road bike in 2 decades. The new Optima seat was just as comfortable as my 20+ year old standard right from the start. A great seat and proved super comfortable on multiple 50+ mile rides.
I usually do not like to write reviews for any product. However, I am making an exception for the Zeta saddle because it is simple outstanding. I started road cycling about 1 1/2 years ago. The selection of a good saddle has been a very frustrating experience. I have spent thousands of dollars buying the most expensive saddles from all the top brands including Specialized, Fizik, Sella Italia, Bontrager and others. I ran into a Zeta saddles add in my e mail and read that this saddle had been designed by a physician cyclist who also experienced frustration in finding the right saddle. I thought, this may be it! With some skepticism I ordered the Optima and took this brand new saddle to Italy to be used in a cycling trip. What a gander ….!!!!! My brand new Zeta saddle was installed on my high performance road bicycle and for six days, morning and afternoon, I rode 500 + Kms doing flats and hills with elevation gain up to 2,700 ft in Tuscany Italy. Coming from Florida in the USA this was not an easy task, specially with a saddle I had never used. I took a huge risk and it paid off….. My Optima Zeta saddle 145mm with titanium frame was extremely comfortable and a perfect fit. I had never been on any saddle for six consecutive days of riding. I experienced NO pain or discomfort at any time. I LOVE MY ZETA SADDLE AND WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ALL CYCLISTS OUT THERE STILL LOOKING FOR THE ELUSIVE “BEST PERFORMANCE ROAD SADDLE” 💯❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
